PERSPECTIVES & INSIGHTS from New Orleans

Making Your Mark in the Big Easy.

We love New Orleans for its unique character and vibe. Also known as The Big Easy, New Orleans is the largest metropolitan area in Louisiana and is famous for its symphony of culture, food, historical and modern architecture, joie de vivre, and great corporate event options. NOLA has a reputation for strength and resilience and its gentile Southern hospitality. On the surface, New Orleans operates at a relaxed pace, but underlying this easy vibe is a world-class civic infrastructure designed to support hundreds of thousands of annual visitors. Though the downtown is very walkable, NOLA’s international airport, public transportation system, modern hotels, and extensive services make the city easy to get to and work in.

There’s Nothing Like The New Orleans Vibe

NOLA boasts event spaces of virtually every size and configuration. Its neighborhoods offer a mix of French Creole elegance in the French Quarter to the opulence discovered in a streetcar ride through the Garden District and Uptown. Year-round live music, performances, Creole and Cajun cuisine, fresh seafood, and nightlife give attendees access to new and interesting scenes and experiences.

We’ve hosted many large conferences, incentive trips, sales kick-off meetings, and parties in New Orleans, making it one of our favorite destinations to create events and impact for clients. Clients love New Orleans for its flexible indoor and outdoor spaces and various venue styles, from hotels to historical meeting spaces, nightclubs, bars, boats, and stadiums.

Hotels

From hotels, restaurants, and convention facilities to stately houses converted into event spaces, New Orleans has it all. In New Orleans, hotels serve as the home base for your event. The city has more than 26,000 hotel rooms, most within a walkable two-mile radius of downtown and the French Quarter. These modern hotels offer all the resources your event production team needs to bring your corporate event vision to life. From large indoor spaces that can be transformed into brand experiences, immersive entertainment events, and compelling learning environments to more intimate event spaces that house VIP meetings, break-out sessions, or partner exhibitions, NOLA hotels are built for business.

Off-site Entertainment and Team Activities

Many hotels serve as both the home base for guest accommodations and the venue for major parts of event production, including general sessions, break-outs, special events and meetings, meals, parties, and entertainment activities. Trademark has established relationships with the production side of the house in every hotel and venue we work with to ensure that event production quality is the highest possible.

Trademark has access to the industry’s best videographers, photographers, AV and lighting specialists, sound engineers, and production staff in New Orleans. Having executed successful programs in the city, we have relationships with many local professionals and specialists to support your event.

Off-site Entertainment and Team Activities

While Bourbon Street might be one of the most visited tourist attractions in New Orleans, our clients find that NOLA offers a wide variety of sports, entertainment, adventure, and historical options that provide great opportunities for corporate events.

Combine New Orleans Jazz with the river and creole cuisine on the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen riverboat. Create your own celebration, awards party, or private concert ala Mardi Gras at the New Orleans Jazz Market operated by the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.

The historic Civic Theater in the Central Business District is a perfect balance of classic and cutting edge for up to 1200 people; newly renovated, the venue offers a state-of-the-art A/V system and an “innovative hydraulic flooring system that allows for multiple configurations.”

Check out the NOLA Brewing Company, self-described as “craft beers made by hand in a warehouse on the lake side of a street that tourists can’t pronounce.” It hosts up to 1000, and is a perfect venue for corporate events, celebrations, and transformations. Other venues and opportunities include NOLA’s Vintage Rock Club for fans of arena rock bands from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. And, for those looking for a little more traditional activity, NOLA offers several world-class golf courses, swamp and alligator tours, and southern mansions to explore.

Trademark’s Take on New Orleans

New Orleans is full of sophisticated conference and event venues, hotels, dining, and entertainment options. It’s a storied city with a culture and a variety of truly unique activities and atmospheres. Like many popular cities, we recommend that you book early. The best times to host your corporate event in New Orleans weatherwise are between March and May as well as mid-October through November. These spring and fall months combine comfortable temperatures with average or below-average rainfall and often align nicely with corporate event objectives. We are well-connected to NOLA hotels, entertainment venues, and support services that are needed to make your event a success. We are aware of any incentives or savings offered by the city or its hotels and venues, so we can often secure pricing that isn’t advertised. Trademark is a GO for New Orleans.
